You may not be too familiar with parcel delivery, so to put your mind at ease then here are a few details about how our process works.
Working with our key partners we have the flexibility to deliver most parcels through our network with varying weights and dimensions. Our maximum dimensions and weight for parcel delivery vary for each carrier but the maximum length is 2.5 metres, the maximum actual weight is 30kg with the maximum volumetric weight (the size of the parcel) being 70kg. The volumetric weight is worked out as follows. (Length cm X width cm X height cm) / 5000.
You will be glad to know that all parcels delivered through us have £50 insurance included for free. If your item requires more insurance then you can add extra on during the booking process.
Tracking your parcel couldn’t be simpler. When you book your parcel in for delivery you will be provided a unique reference number which will allow you to use our parcel tracking service to see if your parcel has been delivered, or where your parcel is up to in the delivery process. If you have any queries during this time, we are also available to be contacted via email or over the phone to help track your parcel.
While we do aim to be as flexible as possible with parcel delivery, there are restrictions in place about what can and can’t be sent through our service. This is to protect the delivery driver from any potential hazards which need to be handled by a specialist. We always recommend reading our prohibited items list prior to booking parcel delivery.
